Have you been wanting to get back into sewing with the New Year!!! We have a Basic Sewing Class starting February 4, 2008 at 6:00pm at your Viking Sewing Gallery. What a perfect way for you to get back into sewing, The first class is a Cosmetic Bag with a zipper, the second class is a Tote Bag. The third class you will make a pair of pajama pants, so that you become familiarized with patterns again. Or, if you are a beginner, this is the perfect class for you.....If you are interested, please give us a call and we can get you into the class immediately.

Class Schedule - April, May and June
At our Glendale location, we (the Instructors) are excited to offer you a variety of classes. We are especially proud of our classroom area. These classroom cans comfortable accommodate up to 12 students, especially if both sewing machines and laptops will be used. The instructors' might also have a limited number of class kits available. By signing up in advance, you help us keep the classroom workspace comfortable and productive for all attendees. Your also help the Instructor have the right number of kits/handouts available for students.
" The Ultimate Sewing Place classes require a minimum of three students.
" Please register and pay for classes in advance.
" If you must cancel, please call and let us know at least one day ahead of time.
" The Instructor is responsible for class supply lists and "reminder" phone calls.
NEW OWNERS CLASSES Based on feedback received from prior students.. we are introducing some changes to the New Owners classes (effective April 2008). Class size will be limited to six (6) students. Priority will be given to those machine owners who have NEVER attended a New Owner's class. There will be a waiting list for those owners who have already attended a New Owners class (either at our store or another location) and who wish to repeat the series. The New Owner classes are free for those who are original owners who purchased their machine from an authorized Viking Sewing Gallery/Dealer. There is a $20.00 charge per class/per student if you purchased your machine second hand/elsewhere (yard sale, Ebay, non-Viking store). The student MUST provide a receipt or other proof of purchase to attend class free of charge. This receipt must be brought to the first class. If you are a student who has already been through at least one New Owners class, you are more than welcome at our selection of creative classes and clubs? Thank you for understanding and cooperating with our new guidelines for the New Owners classes at the Ultimate Sewing Place in Glendale!
SOFTWARE CLASSES are free for those who purchased software from an authorized Husqvarna Viking Gallery. Proof of purchase/receipt must be provided to attend class free of charge. Students MUST register in advance for classes. Priority seating will be given to those software owners who have never attended a "new" owner's class for 4D. Class sizes will be limited. Once a class is full, names will be placed on a waiting list. For each class please bring your laptop (with software already loaded onto it) and the dongle!
CREATIVE CLASSES Students must have a working knowledge of their machine. Each student must know how to thread the machine, wind a bobbin, and select stitches. If it is a serger creative class, you absolutely must know how to thread your machine and select stitches. To each creative class please bring a basic sewing kit: Pins, needles, scissors, fabric-marking pen, thread, pen/pencil, paper for taking notes, extra bobbins. The instructor is responsible for providing supply lists in advance. The Instructor is also responsible for calling you, ahead of time, to either confirm date/time or to advise you of any class changes. Class size is often determined by the number of kits available.

The Glendale _ _ _ _ _ _ _Ultimate SEWING Place on 51st Ave and Northern is looking for part time sales people who can Sell, sew and demonstrate machines, also sewing Instructors to teach creative classes. As we expand the number of classes we offer, we're looking for enthusiastic folks who love to sew and share their skills.

- Please register for these sewing classes in the Husqvarna Viking Sewing Gallery,Ultimate SEWING Place, located inside the JoAnn Superstore, across from the notions department. For your convenience, you may register in person, by phone, or mail, using a credit card, check or cash. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a class due to bad weather, insufficient registration, or illness of the instructor. You will be notified 24 hours in advance if your class is canceled and a store credit issued. If you cancel, you must notify the Husqvarna Viking Sewing Gallery at 623-486-9223, 24 hours in advance in order to receive credit. We recommend that students bring basic sewing supplies, scissors, straight pins, seam ripper, plus a notepad and pen or pencil to the class. Check the supply list to see what specialty items you may need such as machines, fabric thread, etc. Classroom sewing machines are available for students to use free of charge. Please reserve one when you register for class. If you choose to bring your machine, be certain it is in good working order and bring extra needles and empty bobbins. We look forward to seeing you in our classes!
